guys. guys. drop everything.

i just discovered this website:

i'm already trying to think of ways to incorporate it into my research, but it's SO FUN. i made a word cloud for MCA:

apparently we like neon things.

you can also make them be shaped like animals, continents, lots of different shapes...

like a baby elephant!

so fun. and free.

happy word clouding!

  1. Today is free cone day at Ben and Jerry's, mes cheries. The closest one to Stanford is in the tres chic Santana Row and they're only doing it until 8 pm, so I'm out. There are several in DC including the Old Post Office, Dupont Circle, and Union Station.

  2. Thanks Michelle! I actually went to the one on Santana Row with my friend after we finished up with Girl Scouts! Mint Chocolate Chunk...made my day :)

  3. I've used word clouds for teaching. I used www.wordle.net but this one is cooler! Thanks for the suggestion!

  4. oh mannn. at the beginning, your blog was my procrastination tool. now it's your blog and making word clouds. ay ay ay. (but this is AWESOME!) xo
